Best Dog Friendly Events – Honestly, the only way I can guarantee I will come to your event is if I bring my dog! Taking your dog to events around Pittsburgh is a great way to socialize them. Also, I get to meet dog parent friends and open local businesses. If only everything in Pittsburgh was dog friendly!
Every year, I round up some of the best dog-friendly events in Pittsburgh. I will update this guide through 2020 as I learn new puppy friendly articles.

The Ultimate List Of Dog Friendly Patios In Atlanta
Dog lovers will want to meet professional dog trainer, behaviorist and author Victoria Schad. Her book tour will visit Riverstone Books in the North Hills where Victoria will talk about her new book
The annual Shadyside Pup Bark Walk is back after a hiatus last year. More than 100 dogs usually take a 1-mile walk along the tree-lined path in Shadyside. There will be vendors and prizes at the ride start/finish line. This event benefits human animal rescues. Additional Information.
Take your pup for a walk through Boise Park, then visit vendors, adopt pets from local rescue centers, a photo booth and raffles. Proceeds support North Central Rescue Malta and local rescues and shelters. Additional Information.
In its 2nd year, Pittsburgh Dog Moms Day celebrates dog moms, puppies and the people who love us! The 2019 event was a huge success! Santa Cruz Pet Friendly
Healthy Pet Markets in McCandless and McMurray is hosting a two-day event with raffle baskets, prizes and vendors. The event will be held on Saturday in the North and Sunday in the South. Save the date: Their Cranberry location is celebrating June 20th! More details.

First Friday Halloween Pet Parade & Costume Contest
PAWty’s customer appreciation event takes place on the first Sunday of June each year. The event includes representatives from pet food and care companies, hands-on activities for families, pet photos, lots of giveaways, raffles and more! Additional Information.

September 29, 2019: Part of The Walking Dead’s 6th Annual Weekend 2019 Dress Up Contest. Bring your furry little elves dressed in their best Halloween costumes. Enjoy great swag bags, raffles, vendors and prizes! More details.
We found a dog-friendly pumpkin patch at Fair Haven Farms in Grove City! Pup Parade and game judging on Saturday and Sunday. And all puppy owners will be entered into a raffle! A portion of each dog’s entry fee will be donated to Grove City Area Pet Rescue. There will be a dog food truck on Sunday only! More details.
