Big carp have been attracting anglers to our lakes for years, in our case lake carp reaching 30 lbs. Cofton carp are beautiful creatures that vary in size and shape. Variations include mirror carp, common carp and even koi cross carp, a pleasant surprise for us anglers.
This year we have stocked new fish to supplement the existing stock and the carp are reaching their early thirties with several large doubles as reserves. These are the target fish for many, but that’s not the whole story. Our pools are designed for all fishing abilities and each offers a different challenge.
Yes, there is an additional fee for fishing on five of our lakes. We offer daily or weekly tickets for guests or visitors, but everyone must have their own ticket for one or two bars. Discounted rates are also available for senior and junior anglers. A day ticket costs £8.50 and a weekly ticket costs £40.00.
We offer coarse fishing in our five lakes, where anglers can catch carp, crucian carp, bream, tench, roach, redfin, eel, perch and more, with a total of 71 sites.
