We are delighted to hear that many of you have already told us how much you love our Destination range for dogs. We love it too! It was definitely a trip with the Duchess, but it meant a lot to us that we could take her on a family adventure.
Is Toronto a good place for dogs? It is! Despite its reputation as a concrete jungle, Toronto is home to numerous parks, off-road dog trails and more. Downtown backyards like College Park also have great green spaces to hang out with your little ones.

We loved our stay in Chelsea. I can see why families love coming here.
While not a fully enclosed water park in Toronto, the Chelsea Hotel’s family recreation area certainly has elements of a water park, including a fun corkscrew slide that extends outside part of the building.

All Inclusive Pet Friendly Resorts
Cherry Beach Dog Park is amazing and currently the only dog friendly beach I know of.
When yard season is in full swing, there are few cities better than Toronto. This section will definitely grow over time to include even more Toronto hotel announcements.
Black Lab Brewing is the perfect place to enjoy food and drink on a rainy day in Toronto. As it is not a professional restaurant (although it does serve food), dogs are allowed indoors.
I love my favorite dog from Mildred’s Temple Kitchen! At the entrance to the house there is a bowl of biscuits and water with the inscription “Even dogs need lunch”. One of the best lunches in Toronto.
State Parks That Allow Pets
I had been planning a detailed tour of Lake Placid for some time before I decided to seek out a vacation with geographic meaning. I told my kids that Ottawa might be a good place. They were happy to be back again. Years passed and this became one of their favorite cities.

We have stayed at Westin hotels several times over the years, but this winter was our first time staying at a hotel in Ottawa. And dogs have it very easy. The Westin Ottawa is also a good test for those who feel confident that they have completed their training at home. It has several floors, and from the moment you wait for the elevator to the moment you cross the street and onto the actual lawn, it’s an event.

We already know from years of hiking that people love to take their dogs to Tremblant. But until we became dog parents ourselves, we didn’t know the countryside was a favorite place for pets until shops started putting stickers on their doors. I’ve lost count of the stores with green hearts, but this is more the rule than the exception.
The summer will be a real test for Tremblant, with the puppy gone and the chance to go hiking and maybe even try cycling with the Duchess. And as for the restaurant… even if the duchess had no problem keeping up her exercise and mental motivation, given all the familiarity with pets she encountered at the warehouse, Open Heat (Lucille’s) It’s amazing how confused people are about pets . politics. We would like to introduce Miss Duchess, our long-time favorite guest house. The Fairmont Tremblant Hotel is one of three hotels in the Mont-Tremblant Pedestrian Village and is the only ski-in/ski-out destination.
And they love dogs! (Actually, he had his own dog house in the living room.)

Discover The Best Dog Friendly Campgrounds Near Thunder Bay, Ontario

It’s a pedestrian-only village, so it’s a dream to be able to walk without worrying about cars or roads. There are many other dogs in the village, which gives your dog many opportunities to be active socially. We met another dog owner who said her dog was not friendly enough to interact with.

Dog Friendly Beaches
This is an area where Tremblant can increase intimacy with your pet. I don’t know if restaurant rules in Quebec prohibit dogs from being on the roof with their families, but even though the new hot roof was open the weekend of Wie’s visit, we were surprised to learn that it had been done. , Dogs are not allowed. Lucille seems interested and I hope she develops a consistent policy on my next visit. I will tell you more about this (and all the restaurants in Tremblant) in my post about restaurants in Mont Tremblant.
It’s a shame that apart from room service, we have nothing else to do but to experience how the fifth member of the family prepares food for us. We look forward to seeing you in the tropics.
