However, from July to August dogs must be lead between 9am and 5pm.

Carney Beach (also known as Gerrans Bay) is one of the most beautiful spots on the long stretch of sand. It’s usually not too busy and is a dog-friendly beach all year round, although pets should be kept on a lead during the summer months. Roseland is a wonderful place on the peninsula.

Half a mile from Portsmouth on the West Coast Path, this beautiful beach is welcoming, family friendly and of course dog friendly! Dogs are allowed year-round. While enjoying a day here, we recommend a trip around the turtles and the stunning Roseland.

This local beach in Hale has wonderful sand for you and your four-legged friend to run up and down. Dogs are welcome at this beach and there is a seasonal dog barrier between the Haile River and Black Cliffs between July and August from 10am to 6pm.

Also known as Cadgwith Cove, this quaint little spot is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery with your kids. This beach is great for swimming and walking along the cliffs. It’s dog friendly all year round!

Located on the west coast of Pally, this small sandy beach is next to the historic lifeboat station and picturesque Mullion Harbour. The beach is dog-friendly all year round. But due to its size, it is often closed during high tides. We highly recommend visiting and exploring the beautiful harbor!

With stunning crystal clear waters and extensive sandy scrub downstream, it’s the perfect place for people and dogs to get their Mediterranean fix.

At the bottom of the Bally Peninsula, in a quaint Cornish village, you’ll find Coley Beach. Known locally as a great spot for scuba diving, the shallow, calm waters are perfect for your little one to swim in! Most of the beach consists of sand and gravel and it is a very safe beach as it is located on the eastern side of the Lizard Peninsula. It’s usually a quieter place in the height of summer than other summer beaches! But remember that your dog must be kept on a lead during the summer months (June, July and August).

Polgwidden Cove is a lovely little beach just north of the Helford River, just below our own Treba Park.

Known for its crystal clear waters, and playing an important role in World War II, your dog will love sniffing around this pebbly beach.

It is important to note that Polgwidden is only accessible within the park and dogs must be kept on a lead when walking around the park and on the beach.
