Places To Vacation On The West Coast – America is a diverse country. In fact, I would say it can be completely different depending on the state you visit. Hawaii Places like Washington and Florida – things to explore – are absolutely amazing to me. Ok One place I’ve always wanted to go back to is the west coast. One of the best places to see and have everything you can think of is a part of the United States. And it’s a place you should explore while in the US (especially if it’s your first time).
Anyway, before I embarrass myself about the amount of burgers I’ve eaten, I wanted to share some of the best things to do on the West Coast.

Some of the places I mentioned are on the Pacific coast of the United States, while others are in the western part of the country and require a drive away from the coast, but I couldn’t go through them.

I like to label Seattle as an “alternative” American city, but it’s much more than that. We stayed here for 5 days and loved every second of it.
The city itself is full of fascinating coffee culture, not just Starbucks, but an amazing live art scene (names, CoCA and location) and plenty of microbreweries to whet your appetite (like Georgetown Brewing Company). .
If you’ve never been to Seattle before, hang out at Pike Place Market, enjoy a cappuccino at the Starbucks store that opened in 1971, jump to the top of the Space Needle for an amazing view, and feel the awe of it all. . You can find clam soup.
Best Places To Visit On The West Coast
If you have time, take a whale watching cruise to explore majestic Mount Rainier; Or take the shuttle to Bainbridge Island (a sleepy little community that’s great for exploring).
When it comes to the best places on the west coast, San Francisco is firmly at the top and it’s a place I’ve been back to twice – it really is amazing.
If it’s your first time at Fisherman’s Wharf, Alcatraz Haight Street; While you might want to check out some of the famous landmarks like Lombard Street and the Golden Gate Bridge, there is so much more to the city.
One of my favorite things to do is drive over the Golden Gate Bridge and head to Muir Woods to see some giant sequoias.

To be honest, I’ve been to Los Angeles twice and still haven’t found my place in the city. I’ve heard people rave about the city, but I’ve never had an experience like this.
Still, you have to make a short trip to Los Angeles. Ok The city is not as “small” as places like London, but it is easily accessible by car.
Hollywood Boulevard for some prime locations; Check out the Walk of Fame and the Hollywood sign to see the city. If you’re feeling more cultured, visit the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the J. Paul Getty Center.

Ok Technically, it’s quite far from the coast; But Death Valley is still in the western United States. And you and I have to share a place. oh Don’t worry, It’s not as scary as it seems. Bloody beautiful
Considered one of the hottest places on Earth, this desert is located between California and Nevada and is about an 8-hour drive from Los Angeles.
On my first visit, I didn’t bring enough water (in retrospect, I was an idiot). So plan ahead before you visit.

While you’re there, head to Dante’s View for unobstructed views of Death Valley. Explore Zabriskie Point; Visit Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America; Drive through Artists’ Drive. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water.
However, to be fair, Napa Valley has some of the best (and tastiest) wineries and vineyards in the country, and some of the most stunning views in the area.
Honestly, the hardest part of Napa Valley is choosing which wineries to choose.
There are many possibilities. Pride Mountain Vineyards; Bodegas Modus Operandi, V Sattui, Castelo di Amorosa and St. Clair Brown Winery and Brewery (all great places to start).

Make sure you are the designated driver because you will lose. No kidding…it’s inevitable that you won’t get drunk.
Lake Tahoe changes a lot depending on the time of year you visit, and while it can be very cold, it can also be a beautiful summer paradise.
Whenever you visit Lake Tahoe is beautiful and has a hippie/cool party vibe that seems to work for the area.
I visited in the summer (and slept on the beach for a while), but there was no reason to explore the region in the dead of winter.

The lake is beautiful and the paths, There are many sports opportunities and even a small beach on the lake.

Enjoy the windswept beaches, Watch migrating whales or windsurf and explore the historic harbor area.

For some, there is literally every cuisine imaginable, but my favorite is Casa Guadalajara, one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city.
I swear they make the biggest fajitas imaginable. On the other hand, Controversially, I still think that Mexican food is not doing well in the UK. Ok It’s my excuse to be disfigured when I’m in San Diego. Yes!
For a day trip from the city, head to Üdvhegy. It is one of the most unique places in the United States and is about 3-4 hours away.
Finally, this is exploratory. Enter La Jolla Cove and watch the sunset. It’s a really special place.

Honestly, five really spectacular waterfalls. Beautiful hiking trails, With its wildlife and breathtaking views, Yosemite National Park is the stuff dreams are made of (for me, anyway).
Here are some of the best places to visit. Taft Point Glacier Point Mariposa Grove, Yosemite Valley; Sentinel Dome; El Capitan and Half Dome (which I swear are pretty hard to climb).

Yes, I’m sure you will know… All this is probably the most famous canyon in the world.
It’s not on the coast (far from it, actually), but it’s certainly a wonderful place to explore the western United States.
The national park covers a large area and the canyon is 277 miles long; It is 18 miles wide and 1 mile deep. Wants!
If you want to see the scenery of the Horseshoe Bend hike, don’t forget to visit Havasu Falls.

Although there is no denying that the Grand Canyon is spectacular. Watching the sunrise and sunset here is something else. You will love it.
Feel like a dwarf among the majestic monkey trees of this national park. Some are more than 2,000 years old and nearly five times the size of the Statue of Liberty.

If you want to burn calories, explore the city by bike and try amazing (and cheap) food at one of the many food carts (Aybla, Bing Mi and Koi Fusion are delicious by the way). Slow down with a donut at the iconic Voodoo Donut.
Also, if you like literature, you’ll love Powell’s Bookstore (everywhere, it seems).
