The Lehigh Gorge State Park Trail is great for dogs with wide trails and river views. The full course goes for 26 miles, but a shorter version can be started in Rockport. The path is worth doing as the path is a bit crowded at times. Make sure you find your way to the disused train tunnel across the river. This is a great trip with a dog.
Liddell Recreation Area in Greentown, PA offers a 35-acre park and 80-acre natural area for hikers. You and your dog will enjoy nature trails that follow old logging routes used in the 20’s.
