At Hidden River Cabins we believe in providing dog friendly accommodations. All dogs are welcome to sleep in the house as long as they have their own bed on the floor.

Wooden dog houses in the Lake District will give you a quiet and relaxing vacation and your best friend! Pet friendly holidays may be available and we understand that as pet owners, we encourage dogs here. There is a nice wood stove in the living area, the dogs will love to sleep next to it.

Dogs are also allowed in our reception area and on-site restaurant on a lead basis.  If you are coming for dinner please make a reservation, as the cafe can be booked in the evenings and afternoons. A dog bowl is provided for thirsty dogs after a long walk in the forest. We also have trees to keep us warm when it rains.

There are jobs in the area where you can take your dog, such as Honister Slate Mine near Keswick. This led to the last working scale mine in England. Why not take your dog to the Beach District and enjoy one of the many great walks it has to offer.
