Just two hours south of Sydney is Gerringong, south of Kiama. Werri Beach Holiday Park is a dog friendly park. In addition to allowing pets on site, there are also three two-bedroom apartments that are pet-friendly.
Be careful when booking a cabin with a dog. Please note that dogs are only allowed outside NSW schools and on public holidays.

A second holiday park in Kiama Beach, managed by the Kiama Council, has recently started allowing pets in some of its facilities. Surf Beach Resort accepts pets for an additional $25 per night in special two bedroom cottages.
The park is only a short walk from the center of Kiama and the famous Blowhole. Please note that the nearby beach does not allow dogs to sit on the sand, although Kaleula Nature Reserve has a nearby dog walking area which is not for a fee.

Another dog-friendly park in Forster-Tancurry is Discovery Parks – Forster, located north of town on the river at Doravanka. Dogs can stay in the park all year round, in specially designated areas and in specially designated buildings.
Houses that allow dogs are clearly listed on their website – just look for the “Dogs OK” sign. Even the Deluxe Riverfront Apartments are pet friendly! Please note that there is an additional charge and normally only one dog is allowed per booking, although if there are two children two checks with the operator are required.
The park also has plenty of space for dogs (although families will love the new pool and splash pad). There is a shelter, a fenced dog park, a personal dog wash and dryer (for an additional fee), and a Barks Discovery Walk every Sunday at 8am.
Heading north, Diamond Waters Caravan Park is 40 minutes south of Port Macquarie, on the Camden Haven River near Laurieton. It is a beautiful place surrounded by forest and welcomes dogs all year round, although there are no cats to protect the local animals.
