Best Dog Friendly Eurocamp – If you’re looking for family-friendly places to stay in the Dordogne; Look no further. I studied Dordogne for a week with Eurocamp. This park is listed among the 10 best Eurocamp parks in France. Here is our St Avit Loisirs review.
I have many fond memories of Eurocamp holidays as a child in the South of France with my family. I vividly remember long treks from Eurocamp activity packs that kept us busy for hours. Many days at the beach I remember lovely warm summer evenings with barbecues and morning walks to shops with fresh croissants. I cherish those memories with all my heart.
Best Dog Friendly Eurocamp
I visited France last year on a road trip to explore Brittany and loved it. The roads are beautiful and I found the ferry ride really relaxing and stress free. So this year I thought I would explore France a bit and head to the Dordogne region. We were not disappointed – there are many beautiful towns and villages to explore near our Eurocamp St Evit Loisirs Park.

There is plenty for families to do at the park, so you don’t have to leave the site if you don’t want to. With EurocampDordogne our St. Read on for Avit Loisirs review.
After a night of watching all the Eurocamp parts in France. We chose St Evit Loisirs. Because it’s a big park with lots of things for kids to do. The water park is an indoor swimming pool; outdoor swimming pool; ‘Crazy River’ ride; 210 feet high water slide; I think the children’s favorite place is the water park, which has a children’s pool and a children’s pool. There seem to be good sunbeds around the pool with good views and slides.
St. Avit Loisirs is a beautiful park in a good location. The park has a total of four swimming pools and its own restaurant and bar. tennis There are plenty of family-friendly activities, including mini golf and quad biking. There is also a lovely play area for the kids and the Eurocamp kids club – we didn’t try this as the kids wanted to go to the pool every day.
Another great feature is that everything you need is well-stocked and pizza, salad Burger An on-site supermarket with a good takeaway service with a good selection of chips and crisps to choose from.
Del Garda Village And Camping
The park has children’s clubs, offers a variety of water parks and amusements – for us; For children of all ages; It is a good choice.
Our 3 bedrooms; The 1 bathroom mobile home had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. There is a decent sized living room with a sofa and a table opposite. Air conditioning is an added bonus when the temperature reaches 34 degrees. The girls awaited us in double beds in the second bedroom and single beds in the third bedroom. You can rent a bed sheet in advance so that everything is ready upon arrival.
The kitchen has the usual utensils and crockery, as well as a coffee machine. Kettle Equipped with a dishwasher and a stove.
Outside, the real highlight is the covered terrace, which effectively doubles as a living room. My favorite feature is the outdoor dining area and two sun loungers overlooking the rolling hills. It’s a lovely place to watch the sunset with a glass of wine in the evening while the kids play on the lawn with their friends.
Due Laghi Campsite
We chose the Portsmouth-Caen Crossing mainly because we were heading to Sussex for the Elderflower Fields Festival this weekend, so Portsmouth seemed like the perfect choice. We opted for the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to Cannes. An early start meant lots of stops, but a late arrival at our Eurocamp holiday park, which meant a few hours of rest and sleep. It’s a long trip, but it’s good for kids… about 8 hours.
Another option is to cross from Dover to Calais, which is a shorter crossing; But bear in mind that this means a slightly longer drive into the Dordogne.
Our friends chose to go to Bergerac and rent a car there and found it a stress-free and enjoyable option.
There are so many beautiful things to see and do in the Dordogne that you should not miss St. A car is highly recommended if staying at Evit Loisirs. The nearest town is Le Bugue, about 8 km away. Here you will find a large supermarket. Also a 10-15 minute drive to Limeuil which is a very pretty village. We found a beautiful pebble beach by the river to sit and have a picnic, and Les Jardins Panoramiques de Limeuil is well worth a visit.

Duinrael is an amusement park and water park with over 40 attractions near Amsterdam and The Hague in the Netherlands. You can stay on site; One company that offers accommodation here is Eurocamp.
Domaine De Soleil Plage
If you are on the site; You get unlimited access to the theme park, which is great for families. Perfect location to explore the Netherlands.
We stayed in mid May 2019 and had a great time. I would recommend Duinrell to families looking for a great holiday with plenty to do and if you fancy something different then staying here is a great option for a traditional beach holiday.
Today’s post is a long one, but I hope it answers any questions you may have had along the way.
There are several ways to get to Duinrail; It’s particularly easy to get to from the North of England. We chose to travel from Newcastle to Amsterdam with DFDS Seaways in our own car.
Camping Le Vieux Port (resasol) Review
We traveled overnight and it came back £470 for the car for the five of us, including traveling on a bank holiday. We booked in November using the early booking deal with a £70 deposit and a few months before departure. These prices are based on 2019. See DFDS here for current prices.
You can see my Instagram stories about our DFDS check-in experience here. Driving your own car in the Netherlands is a piece of cake, and if you’re driving abroad for the first time, it’s so easy it’s a great way to put your mind at ease. I was able to drive abroad for the first time. I thought I’d never be able to tell.
Hoek van Holland harbor can be reached by train in 40 minutes. Actually, there are 3 main roads. We used Google Maps to navigate and didn’t take a wrong turn or argue (rare!). Once there, the dune railway has a good stop.
If you don’t want to take your own car, you can go to Amsterdam or Eindhoven airport. Most people want to go to Amsterdam. If you use public transport, you can connect or take a ferry from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station (you can add a transfer to your ferry booking); Then take the direct train to The Hague and the direct bus 44 to Duinreil (it stops literally at the park gate).
Dog Friendly Hotels, Apartments, Guesthouses, Villas In Umag
The beautiful town of Wassenaar is just across the road and well connected with buses to The Hague and Leiden for day trips, no need for a car to stay on the Duinrail. It is also possible to take a taxi from the airport.
Expect to pay around €120 for a taxi from the airport for 4 people. Many people who have stayed at Duinrail recommend booking through Sun Transfer (although I have no experience with this myself).
Eurocamp offers a variety of accommodation options in Duinrell for every budget. During our stay, we were lucky enough to try out two accommodations (Espirit and Avant).
I really liked the layout of the Esprit and felt we had more space, but the Avant has a dishwasher and the partially covered veranda was a compromise for me – it meant we could sit.
