Overlooked by dramatic cliffs and rolling farmland, Ringstead Bay is a long, sweeping beach of sand and rocks perfect for walks and your furry friend. From the National Trust Park at the top of the hill, there’s a one-mile path that takes you down to the beach, where there’s a nice walk before you hit the sand and a view of boats, kites and the Isle of Portland. .
Your dog will love sniffing the rocks, stones and grass on this beautiful beach. It is part of the Jurassic Coast, so look for fossils here, as they are often found in the sand.
