“Different dogs have different personalities, just like people,” Dodman said. “Some regions some dislike; some like humans, some hate humans; some dislike animals; some are aggressive, some are shy.

“They see things that interest them, they look at it for a few minutes and say, ‘Hmm, interesting,’ and then they look away,” Dodman said. But “it’s better than spinning your wheels all day while your owners are away.”
